US Homelessness: 1.6 Million Children Are Homeless, Up by 38 Percent Since 2007
We can do better than this. We must do better than this. I heard stories of ancient civilizations where even one child going hungry was considered a source of shame for the ruler and the people. Americans like to think we are at the pinnacle of civilization, but I suggest civilization is not about iPhones or iPad, but people cherishing and taking care of each other.
